BEST THING BOUT JOINING UTS HELLENIC: would have to be the new found "family" i have grown to love; joining a society which emphasises unity, culture, and love for ones own heritage and being affiliated to something
greater; also, knowing that we can make a difference helping each other grow in a world of imbalance.
ASPIRATIONS FOR UTS HELLENIC: that we continue to be a united front, always working with one another no matter the task or hurdle and we remember the purpose of our roles in this society emphasising the strength of the people we are- being GREEK!!!!

DISLIKES: Being in photos, so as u could imagine having the one on this page is killing me.
BEST THING ABOUT JOINING UTS HELLENIC: For me the best thing about joining is the feeling of belonging to a community who are all working towards a common goal. I have met the most fabulous people who I am pretty sure I would not have become as close with had I not joined. Plus the food that we have at our meetings is definitely a bonus.

BEST THING ABOUT JOINING UTS HELLENIC:To be honest, I was always a little suspicious of these Greek uni societies but I was finally dragged to a BBQ by a friend...Suddenly I was President, now I'm VP and I have a circle of friends and a wealth of experience. It's opened up lots of doors and really helped me to learn and appreciate my culture and heritage.

LIKES: I like simple pleasures like spending time with my family and being a crazy nut with mates, shopping :), dancing, reading, laughing at my stupidity etc. I enjoy yoga and all things 'spiritual',contact sports&leading an active lifestyle(go the uni gym!); I love politics, power and big, sweaty, muddy, smelly footy players - I highly rate Braith!
DISLIKES: Hypocrisy.
BEST THING ABOUT JOINING UTS HELLENIC: 'United we stand, divided we fall' - Aesop. As Grk-Australians we should never lose sight of the bigger picture and should strive to maintain ties with the mother country. It is important we ackowledge the achievements of those who have gone before us, however it's critical that we recognise the great obstacles faced by the youth, by our peers, in realising a Grk identity and promoting Hellenism. We are obligated to support eachother for we are the future - the generation that will keep Grk culture and tradition alive. Joining UTS Hellenic is about unity, solidarity and being affiliated to something greater. It's about overcoming the hurdles and accepting a unique national/cultural identity. Most importantly, it's about the exchange of fresh ideas&opinions and rejuvenating the 'Greek spirit'. UTS Hellenic has given me the opportunity to meet friendly, enthusiastic people and offer something back to the Grk community.

"Decisiveness" is a virtue...umm, Oscar Wilde for his unrivalled wit and writing talent; Queen Elizabeth I, she was an extraordinary leader and woman; I'm tempted to say Braith coz then I wouldn't have to cook dessert, but I think Alexander the Great would be more beneficial for his thoughts on power and strategy...

Anything by Shakira, Kylie or J-Lo coz they're just so hot (and talented, of course :) All things George Michael, 'The artist formerly known as', Mitropanos, Dalaras and Aggelopoulos coz they're champs.
